The Leviathan Orbits
By

A shattered ringworld. A collapsed star. A god-thing imprisoned in a cage of cosmic ruin.

In the depths of a forsaken orbital megastructure called Avolis, the remnants of ancient civilizations decay under endless night. Ruined arcologies crumble. Bioluminescent flora drift in zero-gravity tombs. And orbiting the gravitational maw of a collapsed neutron star lies Ekrion’s Heart—a wound in reality sealed only by forgotten technologies and a terrifying truth: something vast and sentient slumbers within.

Captain Veren Korrin, a broken oathsworn scavenger, commands the aging starship Daggerfall on a final, desperate hunt—a relic said to contain coordinates to the Leviathan’s cage. He is haunted not just by his past betrayals, but by a code fragment that infects his mind with alien insight. At his side is Sira Telven, a zero-gravity combat specialist and mutiny survivor, and Narex Quill, a former archivist cursed by a data-plague that forces him to relive the deaths of others.

As the crew crosses the Cradle Shards—fractured orbital remains connected by unstable grav-bridges—they confront feral starborn fauna, planar distortions known as Breachfields, and star-cults worshipping celestial decay. In the Echo-Tombs, ancient memory vaults sing with the digital ghosts of extinct minds. But darker forces stir.

Morkan Vey, an outlaw gene-shaper, seeks union with the Leviathan. And Sarra Dren, a rival captain once left for dead, returns infused with the will of an extinct AI choir. At the center of it all is Ysaret Vaal, a mysterious figure claiming to be a shard of the Leviathan itself—offering guidance, at a cost.

From star-gardens bathed in alien bloomlight to the edge of the Core Maw, where space bends and time dissolves, The Leviathan Orbits is a descent into cosmic horror, psychological survival, and the boundaries of human identity.

Will the crew unlock salvation—or unleash a forgotten god upon the stars?
